Ed. Smith Women in History Dinner Party-March 31 (and candy pick-up today)

PLEASE JOIN US FOR OUR ANNUAL WOMEN IN HISTORY RECEPTION
TUESDAY, MARCH 31, 2015
5:30-6:30 PM
EDWARD SMITH SCHOOL
Second grade students have been exploring women and their various
contributions to history. They have written an academic report about a
woman of their choice. In the art room, they have been studying the
monumental sculpture “The Dinner Party” by Judy Chicago that honors
women’s contributions to history.
Armed with their new knowledge, students created symbolic dinner
plates that we will display in our own “Edward Smith Dinner Party”
interactive installation.
Please see attached document.

Reminder: If you happen to be checking your phone and are reading this
message, please also plan on picking up your Gertrude Hawk order in
the cafetorium after school today. Our hardworking volunteers will be
there until 4:00p.m.
