12TH ANNUAL AFRICAN AMERICAN PANEL DISCUSSION

Edward Smith K-8 School, Syracuse, NY will host the 12th Annual African American Panel Discussion on Friday, February 27, 2015, from 9:00 – 11:00am. This year’s theme is: “Political Action for Educational and Social Change” as embodied in the “Lets Move” Initiative of First Lady, Michelle Obama whose goal is to raise a generation of healthy kids. This prestigious event will showcase a range of accomplished guest speakers and performers including, Commissioner Mark Muhammad, Member SCSD Board of Commissioners, Paula Johnson, Professor of Law & Co-Director of Cold Case Justice Initiative, Syracuse University, and Councilor Khalid Bey, Syracuse Common Councilor, Author, & Business Owner.
